Right, now the member of the month, once Wild Card has been opened a month and is up and running, is decided by various things. The first thing: Activity. A member must be active with the site, meaning they come on at least once or twice every other day to check posts and reply to the people they're posting with. Two: they're involved with what's going on with the site. That means anything out of character or in character. If there's a change going on, they're giving feedback on it, or if we've started a poll for opinions on something, they've voted and replied, etc., etc. Over all just being involved. Thirdly: They're kind and respectful to the other players in OOC, the one that can be viewed by everyone. That includes the Cbox, the game board, and anything in the OOC categories. They're also willing to help members or guests that have questions if the admins aren't online to do it themselves
"We can not simply be in the middle of nowhere because a closet must be in a house, or at least a building, of some sort. We obviously must be somewhere. If you could just manage to get us out of here, we would be able to find out just where in the hell we are." –Sweeney Todd

Like the man said, everyone must obviously be somewhere at some point in time, you can’t just be no where, it’s impossible.

Regardless of which continent you rested on, which country you called your home, you were somewhere.

Were, that is. I say ‘were’ because that would mean it was your previous place of residence. Obviously you’re not there now if you don’t recognize the old-fashioned Victorian furnishing, the high ceilings, fancy carpets and patterned wall papers. But just how you got here is completely unknown to you.

Really, nobody has any logical explanation. You were simply taken from your story, wherever you existed, and placed somewhere inside (or outside) the house. If you’re lucky, you landed near someone else in your same predicament, and if you’re luckier, you befriended them.

Some would call it the twist of fate, a wild card that’s thrown into a card game at the last minute to totally throw it off the course it had been taking, possibly in your favor.

Either way, you can’t leave. Don’t try, you won’t succeed. So you may as well get to know the other residents and have fun while you’re at it. They’re not that bad, and the house is beautiful (as well as its grounds), so why not just relax and put that old world behind you?

Step into the world of Wild Card. Humans from eras you didn’t know existed, talking animals, and one large and enchanted house.

Paige scowled and orbed the glass to the ground. This was getting nowhere. It was like fighting her evil self. Which is to say, pointless. "We're evenly matched," she stated. "Now tell me why I shouldn't say a vanquishing spell and blow your ass up."

She crossed her arms across her chest. Sure, she was bluffing a bit. She wasn't so good with coming up with spells on the spot; the glories of having an active power. Still, there was no way Sylar could know that. Plus, she thought she could recall the spell Phoebe had used to set a car on fire--unintentionally of course (it was supposed to be just an illusion), but it was fire nonetheless.

Sylar frowned. He highly doubted that she could blow him up. That would make her too powerful. There was some sort of law to getting powers, some sort of bizarre order. Still, her power seemed very volatile. And by volatile he meant that she had no clue what the hell she could do. One reason...this would be annoying.

"Because you're not sure if the "spell" will even work in the house," he said, looking at Paige. Well, it was bizarre. The house wouldn't let him out of that room. It had hand-cuffed him to some random woman. The house operated on its own plane of logic-hopefully it wouldn't let him be blown up. "Besides-we're under water. Could you even blow me up?"

Paige narrowed her eyes. There was something she really did not like in his smirk. As if she wasn't confident in her powers. Her rhyming skills, on the other hand... Well... They were sadly lacking.

"Do you want to learn the hard way?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. "It would be very... unpleasant for you." She raked her brains for any spell she could remember. The Vanishing Spell should work. ... Or it could get the stupid water out of here.

"I don't die that easily," Sylar said, raising an eye. That was the truth. He didn't. He was pushed off a building-and yet he was still alive. He would like to see her try to kill him. She would fail. "Come on," he taunted, smirking at Paige. "Let's see you do it."
