Wild Card - directed by Eliza
Right, now the member of the month, once Wild Card has been opened a month and is up and running, is decided by various things. The first thing: Activity. A member must be active with the site, meaning they come on at least once or twice every other day to check posts and reply to the people they're posting with. Two: they're involved with what's going on with the site. That means anything out of character or in character. If there's a change going on, they're giving feedback on it, or if we've started a poll for opinions on something, they've voted and replied, etc., etc. Over all just being involved. Thirdly: They're kind and respectful to the other players in OOC, the one that can be viewed by everyone. That includes the Cbox, the game board, and anything in the OOC categories. They're also willing to help members or guests that have questions if the admins aren't online to do it themselves
"We can not simply be in the middle of nowhere because a closet must be in a house, or at least a building, of some sort. We obviously must be somewhere. If you could just manage to get us out of here, we would be able to find out just where in the hell we are." –Sweeney Todd
Like the man said, everyone must obviously be somewhere at some point in time, you can’t just be no where, it’s impossible.
Regardless of which continent you rested on, which country you called your home, you were somewhere.
Were, that is. I say ‘were’ because that would mean it was your previous place of residence. Obviously you’re not there now if you don’t recognize the old-fashioned Victorian furnishing, the high ceilings, fancy carpets and patterned wall papers. But just how you got here is completely unknown to you.
Really, nobody has any logical explanation. You were simply taken from your story, wherever you existed, and placed somewhere inside (or outside) the house. If you’re lucky, you landed near someone else in your same predicament, and if you’re luckier, you befriended them.
Some would call it the twist of fate, a wild card that’s thrown into a card game at the last minute to totally throw it off the course it had been taking, possibly in your favor.
Either way, you can’t leave. Don’t try, you won’t succeed. So you may as well get to know the other residents and have fun while you’re at it. They’re not that bad, and the house is beautiful (as well as its grounds), so why not just relax and put that old world behind you?
Step into the world of Wild Card. Humans from eras you didn’t know existed, talking animals, and one large and enchanted house.

Dino slipped and fell. He had been doing that very often. He had lost Einzo outside the other night and hadn't found him. What kind of boss loses their pet! He sighed , and slowley got up. *Squish* "Squish?" he said in a confsed tone, then he looked down. The floor was soaked, and him with it!. He looked around, asns as he got up, he breiched the water surface where it bobbed at his chest. "Well this is weird." He murmered. His eyes flashed in fright. the water was now at his chin! "What's going on!" He cried loudley.
Nessa had merely been minding her own business when the mansion began to flood. She sighed, realizing she couldn't get upstairs to higher ground if the elevator shaft was flooded. Although she'd have clearly preferred to die in some kind of completely random natural disaster--the sort people would be talking about for ages afterward--she resigned herself to that last inkling of hope that perhaps this was all just a horrible nightmare, and the second she drowned she'd wake up in her own bed and call for Boq to make her a cup of tea.
However, she soon discovered that such was not the case. Although she quickly found herself completely submersed in the water, she learned that she could still breathe. Not only that, she could still move fairly well, and her hair was still in place. She didn't bother to question the phenomenon. She'd learned better by that point.
Nessa rolled down the corridor, glancing around to see if her dorm had been flooded as well. But as she turned a corner, she crashed right into a blond young man who appeared to be having a nervous breakdown and trying to hold his breath at the same time. She reached up, deftly tapped him on the arm, and stated, "You can still breathe, you know."
Dino cocked his head, taking a deep breath, "Right... Where i come from you just dont breathe under water... heh heh/" he smiled at her, "Anyway I'm Dino, and who might you be?" He tossed a hair from his eyes. "Or more over, need any help?"
It seemed like it had been the tenth time that day somebody had asked Nessa if she needed any help. She almost started yelling at him right then and there over it, but another notion suddenly hit her.
If he wants to help you, who's to say you can't just take advantage of him?
It wasn't a particularly nice notion, but then again Nessa had never exactly been known for her bountiful kindness and effervescence. In fact, it would have probably been the fifth or sixth time since her arrival at the mansion that she'd thought to take advantage of others' helpfulness, and the second or third time she'd decided to follow through and actually do it.
She held out her hand to be shaken and tried her best to put on a sweet, helpless smile. She hadn't attempted this since her university days, but she hoped she still had it in her after all. "My name is Nessarose Thropp," she offered, noticing that bubbles streamed from her mouth every time she spoke up. "Now that you mention it, I strained my arms trying to get out of the house before it filled up with water...would you mind pushing me around for a bit, or would that be too much trouble?"
